2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant Supply Chain Planning Solutions

Arkieva Named a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Supply Chain Planning Solutions in Process Industries

Arkieva is included in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Supply Chain Planning Solutions in Process Industries, positioned as a Challenger. The report evaluated 16 vendors on two dimensions: Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute. What we believe the Gartner Magic Quadrant Is, and Isn’t

Gartner Magic Quadrant™ research methodology and visual tools provide a graphical competitive positioning of technology and service providers in a specific market.  A Magic Quadrant provides a graphical competitive positioning of four types of technology providers, in markets where growth is high and provider differentiation is distinct: Leaders, Visionaries, Niche Players and Challengers.

Where Arkieva Is Positioned and Why We Feel We Were Included

We believe the Challenger quadrant reflects vendors with strong Ability to Execute and a more defined scope of vision. For Arkieva, that scope is intentional: we build specifically for process industries:  oil and gas, chemicals, food and beverage where supply chain planning involves constraints that general-purpose platforms were not designed to handle.

Blending and co-product manufacturing. Campaign-based production. Feedstock volatility. Capacity-constrained multi-site operations. These are not edge cases for our customers. They are the core planning problem. Our product investments reflect that.

How Arkieva is Recognized

Arkieva enters the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning Solutions in the Process Industry as a Challenger, a recognition the company has now received for 11 years.

Arkieva’s core market argument is specificity. Rather than positioning as a horizontal platform, the company focuses squarely on the constraints that define process manufacturing. In process industries, every decision is shaped by realities that can’t be ignored: fixed production assets, variable yields, long lead times, and strict safety and regulatory oversight.

Planning Intelligence Across the Full Stack

Arkieva’s platform spans demand forecasting, inventory planning, and S&OP, with machine learning-driven tools designed for collaborative forecasting and enabling profitable, timely responses to demand. The company also emphasizes multi-constraint production scheduling — optimizing production runs while accounting for capacity, shelf life, and compliance constraints to maximize throughput.

A Measured Approach to AI

Unlike competitors leaning heavily into AI as a headline differentiator, Arkieva takes a more grounded stance. The company acknowledges that while AI is delivering measurable value in areas like forecast accuracy and scenario analysis, full autonomy — where AI independently manages planning without human oversight — remains largely theoretical. This positions Arkieva as a pragmatic partner rather than a technology-first vendor.

What We Are Building Next

Our product investment in 2025 and beyond is focused on agent-driven AI workflows — closing the loop between what the plan recommends and what the operation executes. This is not AI as a feature announcement. It is a structural change to how planning decisions surface and get acted on.

GenAI is already embedded in the platform. The agent-driven layer is in active development. Our goal is a planning environment where the right guidance reaches the right person at the right timing, within the specific constraints of a process manufacturing operation.
