When to and when NOT to use Optimization methods to better balance demand and supply.

Join Dr. Ken Fordyce, Analytics Director at Arkieva, during the webinar on best practices and emerging challenges to when using supply planning models as a competitive advantage.

Discussion topics include:
  • Basics of balancing (matching) supply (assets) with demand – what is it, why is it important, and how do we define better

  • Three primary modeling methods for balance – rough cut capacity planning, heuristic, and Optimization (LP) – overview and comparison
  • What is Optimization – the basics?
  • Advantages of supply chain optimization
  • Challenges with supply optimization
