Arkieva’s Dr. Ken Fordyce Guest on the IBF Practitioner Podcast in SCM Hosted by Eric Wilson
Arkieva’s Dr. Ken Fordyce was delighted to be a guest on the Institute of Business Forecasting’s seventh episode of an ongoing series of podcasts designed for practitioners in the field of supply chain management hosted by Eric Wilson. Eric and IBF have launched an outstanding series of podcasts that provide critical information to those active in the field or about to enter the field in an entertaining, but informative way. Arkieva’s COO, Sujit Singh, notes “the series captures Eric’s extensive interest, experience, and success in SCM and his ability to explain complex topics in an easy to understand manner.”
Ken was a guest on Episode 7 – “Building Relationships with Supply Planning”. This episode discussed the partnership between demand planning and central or supply planning, how to make it a successful partnership, and its critical role in any organization. Components of the material covered can be found in Ken’s blog “Demand Management’s Partner in Crime – Central Planning.”
Some other recent podcast episodes are:
- Magic of Forecast Value Added
- Is S&OP dead and what would replace it
- Predictive Analytics & Digital Transformation – good, bad, and ugly
- Segmentation and Clustering – beyond Pareto Analysis
IBF has historically done a tremendous job of finding the balance between being overly (and unnecessarily) technical and trivial, providing first-rate material for practitioners. Eric Wilson’s podcast continues that tradition.
