Dr. Ken Fordyce has been appointed to the Production and Management Society (POMS) Practice Leaders Group.  POMS is one of the premiere international professional organizations.

Practice Leaders are outstanding production and management practitioners who are committed to share practical knowledge and create discussions on emerging issues with respect to the three primary missions of POMS:

• Extend and integrate knowledge to improve the understanding and practice of production and operations management (POM)
• Disseminate information on POM to managers, scientists, educators, students, public and private organizations, national and local governments, and the general public
• Promote the improvement of POM and its teaching in public and private manufacturing and service organizations throughout the world

As a Practice Leader, Ken will organize sessions and forums at the POMS conference, work directly with colleges and organizations looking to improve their operations, and contribute to discussion of emerging challenges.
