Linde currently uses a digital twin of its production facilities to track the actual performance and efficiency of the plants against the theoretical model of what it should be able to do.

But the true measure of success comes from how well people use these systems.”

The 2019 conference focuses on the conference theme: “A New Era: Converging the Physical and Digital Supply Chains.” The conference will center its discussions on how supply chains can take advantage of emerging digital strategies in today’s digital era. Closely aligned with the conference theme, on Tuesday, June 18, Linde’s Global Head of Bulk Supply Chain, Richard Wallington, presents “Optimizing Linde’s Integrated Supply Chain with a Digital Twin” from 1:05 pm – 1:25 pm. The session focuses on how to attain the benefits of creating a digital twin for integrated supply chain processes drawing from Linde’s implementation journey and real-life examples of lessons learned.
In a recent Gartner Supply Chain Magic Quadrant report, Gartner discusses how end-users are increasingly thinking about the digitalization of their planning processes. Arkieva customer Linde paved the way for more digitilized planning with the implementation of Arkieva’s One-Plan S&OP Solution Suite.
