Arkieva CEO encourages employees and other businesses to contribute to the cause

Wilmington, DE 2/17/2016 – Harpal Singh, chief executive officer and founder of Arkieva, designer, and provider of Advanced Planning and Scheduling software tools for manufacturing companies, today announced Arkieva will be donating $5,000 to the Flint, Michigan water Crisis.

Singh has watched and heard about the ongoing Water Crisis in Flint, Michigan and feels compelled to support the community as they try to cope with the ongoing challenge

“The Crisis in Flint Michigan is very troubling, said Harpal Singh, chief executive officer and founder of Arkieva. “In this day and age, access to clean water is expected in any developed society and it pains us to see a situation where this fundamental need has been neglected.  We encourage other businesses across Delaware and in the United States to contribute.

In addition to donating $5,000, Arkieva plans to match contributions made by employees.

Arkieva has had a long history of participating in community events and tries to help people in the community. Every month Arkieva contributes to a number of different charities. While Arkieva has done this in the past without any public mention, this particular crisis in Flint has an urgency which suggested this extra step.

Arkieva hopes their donation along with contributions from other businesses can help bring this crisis closer to a resolution.
